Southrop Village Fête
Southrop’s is a quintessential village fête and one of the most impressive in the area (it raised more than £10,000 pounds last year). It’s staged within the grounds of the Manor, in the heart of the village and is usually a great day out for the whole family. There’s also the chance to win some fabulous prizes in the Grand Prize Draw, which in previous years, have included an autographed football by David Beckham and one of 10 places on an RAF refueling flight over the North Sea.

Cheltenham Circular Challenge
The walk takes place in June and is a series of four fun and healthy fund-raising walks high over the escarpment above Cheltenham and around the valleys and villages back to the start point at the Racecourse. Walkers can choose one of four very different walks; or for those who wish to take on the full challenge, the combination of all four make a beautiful and challenging circular walk of full 26 mile marathon length. Summer Music Festival

The Battle Proms Concerts 2010 at Blenheim Palace
A classical music spectacular with cannons, cavalry, spitfire air display and fireworks!!
As well as performing Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, the Battle Proms is the only concert that stages Beethoven's 'Battle Symphony' (Wellington's Victory). Beethoven scored this piece for 193 cannons! The Gatcombe Horse Trials

Frocester Beer Festival
The annual Frocester Beer Festival is run in conjuction with Frocester Cricket Club at the cricket club's ground in the hamlet of Frocester near Stonehouse, Stroud. The Frocester Beer Festival takes place every August bank holiday weekend. Frocester Beer Festival has just celebrated it's 28th year, and has gone from strength to strength, attracting people from all over Europe. There is a camp-site (with public ameneties), a stage with a complete programme of live music throught-out the festival, hot food, and most importantly, over 150 different cask-conditioned real ales from more than 50 breweries around the UK.

Moreton-in-Marsh Agricultural and Horse Show
The Moreton-in-Marsh Show is a traditional one day Agricultural and Horse Show and the leading agricultural event in the County. It is held in the extreme north of the Gloucestershire Cotswolds on the first Saturday in September each year.

Competitions are held for horses, ponies, cattle including the National Show of Poll Hereford cattle, sheep including the National Show of Cotswold Sheep, goats, poultry, dogs, homecrafts, flowers, vegetables and even scarecrows. Around 250 tradestands provide everything from a tractor to a toy and a wide selection of food and drink - both to eat at once and to take home.

The Boylesports International, Cheltenham
A wonderful two days of the highest class action at Cheltenham Racecourse, As always at Cheltenham, there are many emerging and established equine stars on display and indeed, in 2007, four horses ran at this meeting before going on to glory at The Festival in March. Saturday's card features the boylesports.com International, one of the most valuable hurdle races of the entire season in Britain or Ireland and the ultra competitive boylesports Gold Cup, a superb race in its own right and one of the series of 2 mile 5 furlong handicap chases that never fail to illuminate the season at Cheltenham.

VICTORIAN LATE NIGHT CHRISTMAS SHOPPING
Bourton-on-the-Water annual Christmas late night shopping extravaganza! Shops will be open till 9pm and there will be plenty to entertain with the lighting of the Christmas Tree in the river at 6 pm.
