Welcome. Our journey so far at Stonehouse Court Hotel has been incredible, and yet we have really only just begun. I took this beautiful property on as a private hotel in the summer of 2004. Although it is undeniably a rare gem, the interior of this stunning Grade II* listed Tudor country house hotel was in need of a great deal of tender loving care. Our 17th Century Manor House is set in 6 acres of stunning grounds overlooking the Stroud Water Canal and rolling hills of the Stroud Valley. Our attractive gardens and lawns are the perfect place for a peaceful stroll, glass of Pimms or even a game of Croquet – the most traditional of English summer pastimes! You can enjoy the fragrances of our flowerbeds, the breathtaking views or take the time to simply unwind. An arched gateway leads from the end of the garden through to the canal from where you can explore the countryside beyond.
In the main Manor House you’ll find our award winning restaurant, terrace, bar, conference suites, gymnasium and some guest rooms. Our Garden Wing comprises further guest rooms and the Caroline Suite offers extensive banqueting and conferencing facilities

Henry’s Restaurant and Terrace
Awarded two AA Rosettes, Henry’s restaurant at Stonehouse Court Hotel combines the classic charm of the 17th Century Manor with a relaxed, contemporary and informal style. Relax with a pre-dinner cocktail on our terrace or in the lounge before enjoying local, seasonal ingredients, simply cooked to perfection.
Our menu is Modern European with Eastern influences. An extensive wine list has been carefully chosen to offer the perfect accompaniment to your meal and our knowledgeable staff are on hand to offer suggestions.
Our Henry’s bistro style lunch menu is available from 12pm – 3pm, offering light bites and super puddings. Dinner from our ever changing a la carte menu is served from 7pm – 10pm, open 7 days a week. Whether you are planning a monthly management lunch or team diner, an annual awards evening for up to 150 people or a Summer BBQ, our conference and banqueting team can help plan your dining requirements.
